Primary Results

In the mayoral primary, Slay beat Smith

In Ward 1, Troupe over Tyus; Ward 3, Bosley Prevails; Ward 21 French beat King by wide margin; Ward 23 Vaccaro beat six others handily; and Ward 25 Cohn won with Singler second.

New Police Board Appointee

Governor Jay Nixon nominated Bettye Battle-Turner, a former city judge, to the St. Louis Police Board.  She needs to be conformed by the senate.

UPDATE: Political Fix is also reporting the nomination.  They cite "sources."   My source was the Senate Journal.

3rd Ward: Bosley Raised Another $14,690

Citizens for Bosley reports (Summary Page) $1100 beginning on-hand, $14,690 monetary raised, $13,986.53 spent ($1584.17 by cash, $1240.36 by check, which should be $12,202.36), $1,803.47 ending on-hand, $0 debt. The ending on-hand from his January Quarter was $1100 and on 40 Days Before Primary was $900. So his report is off by $200.
