The House Republican Campaign Committee had a two-day campaign school last week that was described as one of their best. With 60 attendees, they say recruiting is going well.

Chris Moreno is the new executive director of the House Democratic Campaign Committee. Moreno ran, unsuccessfully for state representative, losing in 2006 to Rep. Will Kraus (47-52).  (The Dem candidate last cycle only won 42%). Moreno had been one of the finalists to be ED of the State Democratic Party.

Recent donations to the two committees: $15,000 from Anheuser Busch to HRCC; $5,000 from Friends of Chris Kelly to HDCC; $5,000 from MO Optometric to HDCC
