In a recent email solicitation Jim Barrett, running as a Democrat in House 97, asks supporters to contribute $9.

He writes, “We want to make a final fundraising push before file our earnings for the quarter and we need your help. Please consider giving a donation of $9 to help us end ’09 on the right foot.  Your contribution will go a long way in helping us run a professional campaign…”

Of course the pinch is that come January 2010, you just know he’ll be back asking for $10…
