Gene Lacy, State Supervisor for the Missouri Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Control, announces that the Division conducted 10 alcohol compliance check investigations in St. Francois and Ste. Genevieve Counties on February 20, 2010.

Established in 2004, Schlafly’s Art Outside is an alternative juried and invitational art fair dedicated to showcasing local art in an approachable venue and manner. Held at the brewery’s Bottleworks location in Maplewood, MO the fair’s mission is to increase public knowledge and appreciation for the local art scene by creating opportunities that connect artists, musicians, performers, and the community.
Admission to the event is free.

WHAT: The KMOX Business Owners Speaker Series on Monday, September 14th, 2009 from 7:00-9:00am at Maryville University auditorium. The business owners networking event will feature U.S.
Central Presbyterian Church will hold its third annual art show on September 26 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the church, located at 7700 Davis Drive.
The church organizes the juried show as a way to support and interact with artists and the community and also explore themes in everyday life. It will display up to 120 pieces of local art of all mediums, and artists receive 100 percent of sales. More than 300 people have attended past opening nights. The event will include concerts and refreshments.
