Well, Mayor, with a 13% turnout, when you say 12%isn't enough to warrant voter rights in school board elections, I wouldn't say the city made much of a statement yesterday. Sad, sad, sad.

Well, to all who voted for Reed because of his race, think of his debt to Slay. Slay, according to one Democratic operative, appointed Reed's wife to a position of judge somewhere.

So now Reed wants a say in the appointment of a SLPS transitional committee. Since the mayor is another who appoints, it doesn't look good at all for the school district.

It appears there may be a case of a House ____ who owes big time to the Plantation owner.
