Probably not so simple, Mike

Mike Chance says Dems vulnerable if only they can find a GOP candidate for the 64th.

Mike didn't get the memo that explains that Republicans are in some trouble with the voters, yes, even in Missouri. RNC would do well to think about marshalling resources to protect their current majority instead of spending money to increase Democratic turn-out in the city.

While it's generally smart to you run good candidates everywhere, including opposition strongholds, Mike's analysis is really lame. He claims that because Storch ran unopposed in the general election, she was able to donate a higher percentage of her campaign funds to other candidates than Villa, who faced a GOP opponent. Well, duh!

But Villa raised almost twice as much money as Storch, presumably because he could say to donors, "I'm facing an opponent - I need more money!" He was still able to transfer a hefty chunk to other Democrats, almost as much as Storch did.
