Don Calloway says he's sending in his papers to start a committee today. Haywood is termed in 08.
Don Calloway is exactly the type of person we need in public office: bright, diligent, capable, and civic-minded. Let's hope that the residents of the 71st also believe that it would serve them well to elect an intelligent young lawyer and community volunteer instead of a retread tied to the political machines.
Posted by Ryan on Sun., Feb 18, 2007 at 9:53 AMI can only hope that Mr.Calloway is not in any way affiliated with Juanita Walton and her race based slash and burn politics. Instead of working to bring people together in north county, the Waltons have been dividing people for years.
Posted by SouthCountyProgressive on Mon., Feb 19, 2007 at 12:11 PMGreat news. Don Calloway would make an excellent represetative, not just for the 71st but for the entire STL region and the issues we care about. He's hard working, conscientious, and actually gets things done instead of just making promises. The man is a class act, and it's great to see he's running.
