Page 20, specifically donation number 66, is from Eagle Realty one of the Blairmont players. Maybe this is why Shrewsbury touts his hard line anti-building code violation position, yet isn't sending any fines to those responsible for wide scale violation that is Blairmont?

Check out the latest ACC print edition for a fascinating article by Dave D. where he shadows Lewis Reed on the campaign trail.

Where is Reed's report?

How can you ask for someone's vote when you flagrantly ignor the laws?

Posted by watchdog on Tue., Jan 30, 2007 at 7:17 PM

Wasn't this report due like 5 days ago? Has Reed's been sent in but just not scanned? What gives?

like i said over at pubdef ... talk about filing late, looking at the date stamp on the papers shrewsbury filed he was late filing by 5 days.

If you made the post on Pub Def, I am sure you read the post explaining that the reports have to be postmarked by a certain date and that the date stamp on the report is the date when it was received by the Ethics Commission. Maybe you wouldn't be so "confused" if you did some research!

Ok. So maybe Reed's is delayed for the same reason then.

ACC print edition...wow it's been ahwile!

It looks like Reed has published his books, and did it online rather than the old format of using a typewriter. I haven't had time to go through all the line items, but from the summary page it looks like he raised more than twice the amount of Shrewsbury. Congrats to Reed on the grand job of fundraising and on moving into the digital age, even if publishing one day after his opponent.

Pubdef is reporting that Reed has $92,000 after spending $113,000.

What the heck did he spend 113-grand on??!!

Besides a few illegally placed yard signs, I haven't seen his name anywhere!

Posted by political watcher on Wed., Jan 31, 2007 at 8:50 PM

Wow.
If this is even half true, Reed's in big trouble.

I agree with Political watcher other than illegally placed yard signs.. no ads ..and the pitful lie filled literature ... the personal debt... what a campaigner Reed and Co are..Looks unprofessional to me Looks like Jim Shrewbury will be back on Tue.Sorry big spender looks like its a practice run Reed...St.louis expects better than Reed and sad company.....
