Or is it Cash-ione?
$1,980 raised, $5k loan to self; $2,888 on-hand.
Regarding the attached documents: it is monetary NOT monitary!!!!! I am so sick of reading Cacchione's misspellings and grammatical errors.
Posted by fed up on Wed., Jan 24, 2007 at 1:18 PMFrom comment on January 15th regarding Saller raising $1,550 through 12/31/2006:
"Not a very impressive total from Saller. The guy who sued his then-constituents did more than five times better! It would seem to me like Saller's not very serious about running this race."
So how impressed are you with Cacchione's ability to raise funds, having been in the race longer than Saller? Does this make Cacchione a less viable candidate than the 24th's Bauer?
Posted by Urban Review on Wed., Jan 24, 2007 at 1:21 PMKacie Starr had five typos on her door hanger. I am so fed up with that that I have to make an anonymous blog posting about it.
Posted by I am also fed up on Wed., Jan 24, 2007 at 1:34 PMWow the campaigns of the typos, I guess Saller should win by default, or maybe some people need to get a life!
Aside from that, Neither are impressive totals. But both Campaigns Committees were formed in December which is, I imagine, a hard month to fundraise considering the holidays.
However, Cacchione's personal loan shows that he may be a more serious candidate.
Posted by Seriously on Wed., Jan 24, 2007 at 1:48 PMOops! I had a typo, maybe some people should start wailing and gnashing their teeth!
Posted by Seriously on Wed., Jan 24, 2007 at 1:51 PMStarr with five typos. doubt it! clearly she is emerging as the front runner and her opponents are doing everything they can to thwart her shine. Like jay z says, "dust the dirt off your shoulders" and keep going Starr!
Posted by fat_albert on Wed., Jan 24, 2007 at 1:57 PMMaybe Cacchione should look to Talent and Akins for some endorsements, they own him for all the money he has given them in the past!
Posted by msrstl on Wed., Jan 24, 2007 at 2:49 PM"...so fed up with THAT THAT..." Patrick, is it you?
Posted by fed up on Wed., Jan 24, 2007 at 4:28 PMOne of the school board candidates who is a somewhat prolific poster on blogs has messages replete with typographical and grammatical errors. Oh, the irony.
Posted by anon on Wed., Jan 24, 2007 at 5:50 PMWow. So, just to be clear, Patrick Cacchione gave more money to Jim Talent than he was able to raise in independent donations this quarter.
Ummm...to me, that doesn't say viability at all. I'd be pulling my hair out if I was a Cacchione supporter.
Posted by Betty on Wed., Jan 24, 2007 at 9:45 PMIf Saller and "Starr" would respond to and visit the larger constituent groups that have a city -wide appeal but have a stake in such a diverse Ward, instead of the small affinity groups they travel in now, maybe their money would reflect it ....hmmm
