Hit mailboxes last weekend?

Why do people insist on sending mail with all those words. People do not read mail closely. You need as few words as possible with as boldas typeface as you can get. Substantively this may have been a fine piece but stylistically there is just too much going on.

No union bug on the piece.

Tim, I think that's probably just a proof from the designer. The printshop puts on their own bug, in-house. That's why it doesn't appear on that .pdf file.

The piece came this weekend. Joe is right with there being a lot of words, but I found many of the responses helpful in establishing how she felt on the issues. Now, I am sure there are others who don't care as much about local politics and may not be interested in actually reading the piece, but I thought it was a pretty good piece.

I like the Q&A format. Its something different than the normal fare of "look what ive done and what clubs im a member of!!!! you should vote for me because of it."

Maybe its a bit wordy, but overall it seems pretty informative and honest.

I agree with Chris and Ben it maybe a bit wordy but overall it very well done and very informative on where she is on the issues. Good timing on her part I'd say.

Christ that is one hideous mailer. Is it too much to ask that those running for office hire actual graphic designers, or at the very least, students from one of the various community colleges? I've seen better mailers from Don Brown Chevrolet.

Someguy is a hater.

Its nice to see that she actually took the time to reach out to the community and answer the questions and hit on the issues that we are facing. Yeah their are lotta words, but it is very informative. Haven;t seen anything from anyone else except for Jim Shrewsbury. I don't know anything about the other candidates, but I least I know who Kacie is and she came to the door too. That's a lot more than the others have done.
