I just looked at Kacie's site and she is suggesting you send her $5 via PayPal and then they will write one check to cover those members. This is quite different than what Patrick is suggesting above.

So where are they going to hold this ward meeting? What do the bylaws say about people submitting their votes by proxiy rather than showing up in person?

I'd actually like to know the numbers --- how many members were added and what is the paper trail of the money. I guess when her report comes out in late January we'll be able to see how much the check was to the ward organization.

regardless of the paper trail, all the money is going to the ward organization where the committeewoman and committeeman will have a big chunk of change to sit on. if both triplett and cacchione are rushing to stack the meeting with their supporters, then expect the ward organization to get a big flux of money coming in. what happens to that money, is the real question. especially for a ward that doesn't do much other than have meetings a few times a year.

It's funny hearing Patrick talking about 'ethical reasons'. I guess manipulating a ballot measure is a just and honest action. Oh Patrick, btw its precedent not president.
