Dining out for Life is tonight. If you can afford it, please help St. Louis Effort For Aids in their struggle to combat the devastation HIV/AIDS wreaks on our community. All of the pertinent information can be found on their website.
In addition, there is an "Art for Aids" reception, from 4pm to 7pm at UMSL's Gallery Visio. It is free and open to the public.

"Art For AIDS 2006" opens today and runs through Jan. 6 in Gallery Visio at 190 Millennium Student Center. An opening reception will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. The fundraising exhibit features work by St. Louis-area artists. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of exhibited artwork will be donated to Camp Hope, a St. Louis-based weekend-long respite for children living with HIV and their families. The exhibit is free and open to the public, and sponsored by Gallery Visio and PRIZM. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
