Educate St. Louis starting to re-load?
The elections are not that far off. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and then about 90 days to the April election.
I mention this because I was polled last night - Midwest Research - about the SLPS. It was a long poll with several questions dancing around the potential hot-buttons - tax increase and state take-over.
I took that poll Sunday night. Way too long (my phone said over 16 minutes!), choices confusing.
I tried to find out from the polltaker who sponsored the survey, and she simply said "St. Louis Public Schools."
I sure hope the school district's limited funds aren't being used for this survey! I'd much rather it was a political action committee financing it. But if so, why would they say it was SLPS?
Also the polltaker could have had better enunciation skills. I thought she said "Do you think Mayor Slay's performance is FLAVORable or unFLAVORable?"
My opinion? Needs more salt.
