Lost in the euphoria: Stream unseated Bogetto in Kirkwood, while Lembke, Fares, Portwood, Muschany and Schnarhorst all held off strong challenges elsewhere in the County. Dem losses of Bogetto and Dake are among the few losses by Dem incumbents anywhere in the country.

I'm curious as to why we lost a few seats, but I assume its due to the talent turnout machine. Prolly cost Dake his seat, maybe Bogetto too

Actually, Kirkwood was Talent's boyhood home and is McCaskill's current home.

Where you grow up is often more important than where you are now. Take Progressive Party auditor candidate Terry Bunker for example. He got a disappointing 1% statewide. He got 2% in KC, where he lives now. But in Worth County where he grew up, he got 32.5%, came in second (ahead of the Republican), and came within 41 votes of actually carrying the county.
