Wonders if you're with Blunt or Nixon. No, not in 08, but today, concerning MOHELA.
With Nixon.
But what about Blunt's boy Chris Goodson?
Pub Def is reporting that the Police Board, led by Goodson, has now lifted the residency requirement for civilian employees of the police department.
Slay wanted the police board to wait until there could be a non-binding election to see what city voters think on the issue.
Not to be. Despite taking millions and millions of dollars from the city of St. Louis in tax subsidies for his developments, Goodson does not have the decency to honor requests from the Mayor of St. Louis, every alderman and other city elected official I can think of, to wait on this vote until the citizens of St. Louis have a say.
I hope the city never gives Goodson one more dime of taxpayer supported development money in his career.
In fact, since Goodson likes changing the rules of the game so much (i.e. lifting long term residency requirements), the city should reneg on his development subsidies. Let's take them back.
Why not? The man (Goodson) is not a really a Republican (as we would all think), instead, he calls himself a libertarian.
If he's so much into "government being out of our lives", maybe he should just give back all that free money from the city of St. Louis.
Posted by anon on Thu., Sep 21, 2006 at 6:22 AMDoes this comment about Chris Goodson shed some light about possible motives for the arson that occurred earlier this year on the Mississippi Place condos? Those condos are being developed by Guilded Age Renovations (ha! catchy name!), of which Goodson is one of the principles.
