Remember that just because the American progressive movement of the last century was liberal in nature does not require that all progressives or their movements be liberal. In fact, the definition lends itself to both sides of the spectrum. It all falls on what one considers progress.

No, travis. "Progressives for Change" is just an attempt to cloak Republican support for a conservative Democrat.

You might see conservatives in general and Republicans in particular claiming to have "Big Ideas", but you don't see them claiming the "progressive" label. The reason for this is pretty clear - it's hard to call it progress when you're rolling things back, and it's hard to establish a brand when you call yourself by two titles that mean the opposite of each other.

Is this a hoax? I find it very hard to believe that No More Business As Usual Gambaro accepted money from Progressives for Change with knowledge that it had been funneled by the GOP. There must be some reasonable explanation for how this happened. It is not like me to start a rumor, but was Dustin Mitchell involved with Gambaro's campaign or Progressives for Change?
