I clicked through to Haas's web-site. I can't find a disclaimer anywhere. I'm holding a piece of literature that one of El-Amin's workers brought to my door tonight. It's nice, lots of color on coated card stock but no disclaimer. What's the deal with these candidates ignoring a simple law that has been in place for more than 25 years? I've heard both of them run their mouths trashing their opponents but neither of them seem to be able to get even the simple things right.

I was just wondering the same thing. Disclaimage on all political material, especially literature soliciting contributions, is fundamental statutory compliance. Moreover, Haas is certifiable. He has been hounding Rep. Hubbard and his family. Haas calls the Hubbard home and actually speaks to his wife encouraging her to convince her husband to drop out of the race. As for El-Amin, ever since her "known Caucasian" press release, we all know she is in desperation mode. Derio is thus in uber desperation mode, hich makes Sinquefieldgate so tantalizing. Who is Mark Miles my esteemed colleague Dave asks. Mark Miles came to prominence in St. Charles County politics when Mel Carnahan was elected governor. Miles owned not one, but 5 license offices at one point. He has been the treasurer of various legislative committees in the past. What concerns me is the lengths at which once solid Democrats have become faithless partygoers. In addition, with all of the labor hierarchy and rank and file living in St. Charles and Jefferson Counties, one need look no further than the last two presidential election cycles and see where the Democrats were betrayed over guns, God, and abortion.
