Jeff Smith - 60k raised; 30k spent; 158k on-hand.
Kenny Jones - Raised 3k, spent nothing.
Waiting on Amber, Yaphett and Derio.
Wow.
That's the biggest number we've seen so far this campaign. That must be one of the biggest quarters in the state for a state senate race. Is there any chance somebody beats that?
Okay, I’m still working to understand Jeff Smith’s reports. Maybe some of his people can help me out. Jeff actually filed three reports for the same period on the same day (the initial report, and then two amendments). They breakdown as follows:
Report filed at 3:59 pm: Raised $60,322.01/Cash on hand $158,579.26
Amended report filed at 7:59 pm: raised $60,122.01/Cash on hand $158,379.26
Second amended report filed at 8:45 pm: raised $0/Cash on hand $128,146.35
The same thing happened with the April reports. They filed a report and then amended it just minutes later. Which report is right?

Posted by Bubba on Sun., Jul 16, 2006 at 11:37 AMKenny Jones received a total of $600 from Jim Shrewsbury, The Shrewsbury Committee and Mrs. Shrewsbury. Over 20% of Jones' total raised, what's up with that? Looks like Kenny will get at least 2 votes in the 16th Ward.

According to MO Ethics:
If the last day to file a report with the Ethics Commission or other appropriate officer other than the Ethics Commission, falls on a Saturday, Sunday or an official state holiday, the deadline for filing is extended to 5:00 p.m. on the next day which is not a Saturday, Sunday or official holiday. Any report mailed to the Ethics Commission must be postmarked prior to the due date to be considered timely filed.
So the others aren’t really late yet. They’re probably in the mail. It could take the Ethics Commission a day or so to scan all of the paper reports. We may not know on the others until the end of the week.

I'm back.., the page works fine on internet explorer... hmmmmmm..... (I thought this guy was a progressive? ;-)
