What has happened to the Boykins political operation? Amber's husband Shaun Simms is a candidate in this district, yet some of Tyus' endorsements appear to come from organizations related to Boykins (and who endorsed Amber for state senator). Maybe Nia knows.

Perhaps Tyus' political obituary was premature. This is an impressive list of endorsements. Nevertheless, I expect Nasheed still has the upper hand in this district.

Nasheed does not have the upper hand but she is learning a lesson in humility. Arrogance and aggressiveness does not always equate to the better candidate in an election. Nasheed peeked to early with her campaign, like the rest of Team El-Amin. People are pissed off about all of those campaign signs littered through the neighborhoods of North St. Louis. Plus Nasheed signs are ugly as hell, and Tyus used similar colors but her signs are stylish.

Nasheed is going to take a buttwhipping that will be heard around the world. This is Ali vs. Foreman in the "Thrilla in Manila", surprisingly enough Tyus is playing the role of Muhammad Ali in this fight and Nasheed is playing the role of George Foreman. Nasheed has thrown out all of the blows that she can, and Tyus has taken these blows and responded by asking, "Is that all that you have?"

We all know how this fight ends, because ALI is the greatest. Nasheed knows that TYUS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!

Nasheed has signs, not supporters. Most of the signs aren't in yards except on her block. The majority are located in Liquor store lots, something I thought would be against her Muslim religion.
When Jamiliah first got her van covered, the colors were blue and yellow. When she made her yard signs, she made them green and yellow. Why? Because everyone knows Tyus's colors have always been yellow and green. Nasheed has also been bullying people into accepting signs who don't support her and they are afraid to take them out of their yards because she may return with her two thugs dressed in security guard uniforms. Tyus has all the important endorsement and with that the people to man the polls, pass out literature, give rides etc. Yaphette has to run hers and her husbands race, Amber has the same problem. Who can help Nasheed?

Further, how do you compare an experienced, proven attorney who was an effective legislator to a novice GED ex drug seller with a convict husband and say the choice is difficult? If you need someone to picket, call Nasheed, if you need a legislature who can hit the ground running. Call on Tyus!

FYI:

Nasheed's real name is Jenice Williams aka Jamiliah Nasheed. Husband isn't registered from her address of 4710 Lee. Where does he live and vote?

Since she said in her mailing he was a blessing, can she tell us what he was recently in prison for?

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!!
IN THE KNOW? MOST DEFINITELY... KNOWING THE KNOW... YOU'VE GOT IT!!

Because of course, Nia knows.

Here is the $64,000 question?

What makes Sharon Tyus so superior?

What makes Jamilah Nasheed quest for leadership so weak and limp?

Well, the $64,000 is actually what happened to the $25,000 that former Alderwoman Tyus allocated for Sankofa Books & Gifts? Nasheed's former bookstore that she boasts of in her literature and speeches.

In countries in the Middle East where her Muslim sisters and brothers reside; Nasheed would have been put to death for treason had she carried out such acts against allies that she stood at one time so loyally with.

Is this how our thug turned activist returns the nurturing of the every so Africentric Circle of Trust? And where is Pissy Missy aka Irene J. Smith in the midst of the storm? Sources have it that she is managing the massacre of a campaign orchestrated by Nasheed.

Former Alderwoman, Former judge, former activist, former attorney (well I'm sure by by now you've got the point)...is this how you represent? Or more adequately put...is this who you represent? Well so goes America or more specifically North St. Louis.

Some of the things we sacrifice for the sake of democracy.

More to come on the massacre of North St. Louis.

STAY TUNED.

After all Niaknows

Baby, baby, where did the love go? Does anybody have any love for Nasheed anymore? Is being an activist for many issues that were non-issues bad? Was Nasheed by herself or was she really a covert member of Team El-Amin?

Let us cover the chronology and long-term results of the many protest by Nasheed and Team El-Amin:

1. They protested against liquor stores in the black community.

Result: Nasheed and Team El-Amin support the liquor stores approximately (10) years later by putting up their political signs at most liquor stores!

2. They protested against the vacant and abandoned buildings in the black community.

Result: Nasheed and Team El-Amin support vacant and abandoned buildings approximately (10) years later by putting up their political signs on vacant and abandoned buildings!

3. They protested and asked for an inquiry into high gas prices in the black community, according to the St. Louis Argus.

Result: Nasheed and Team El-Amin support the high gas prices by putting up their political signs at gas stations!

4. They claim they led a protest and shut down highway 70 for the black community.

Result: Nasheed and Team El-Amin cut a backdoor deal with the former Governor Mel Carnahan to build a construction prep school in Wellston away from the City of St. Louis. Black people and minorities still aren't getting their fair share of work on construction projects!!!!! Although Team El-Amin and Nasheed manage this construction prep school, the black people that attend are not paid a dime and do not receive jobs at a percentage rate equal to the MBE/WBE minority participation rate of 25%.

5. They claim to have protested on July 8th, (on a Saturday) in objection to Ameren UE's announcement of increased rates in the latest issue of her daddy's newspaper! Ameren UE's headquarters is closed for business on a Saturday! So much for Nasheed's slogan "while others are silent Nasheed speaks up", it should say "while others are sleeping and Ameren UE is closed for business, Nasheed and Team El-Amin are out protesting!"

Result: Nasheed and Team El-Amin hold a protest against Ameren UE on page (3) of the St. Louis Argus (Team El-Amin's newspaper) dated July 13-19, 2006 and Ameren UE has a 3/4 of a page ad advertising budget billing in the same issue on page (8). No wonder Nasheed and Team El-Amin decided to protest while Ameren UE was closed for business. Team El-Amin and Nasheed can't afford to lose that money NOW!!!!!

We will continue the chronology of the failed protest by Nasheed and Team El-Amin, and how they protest for the sake of protest later!

The definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results, on Tuesday, August 8, 2006, don't vote for the INSANE POSSE!

To "Yeah Baby":

The first three points may indeed be valid criticisms. Of course, most politicians seem to place signs on vacant lots/buildings, even though it's against city ordinance.

As to point #4:
"...a construction prep school in Wellston away from the City of St. Louis.... the black people that attend are not paid a dime and do not receive jobs at a percentage rate equal to the MBE/WBE minority participation rate of 25%."

The Construction Prep Center (http://www.mokanccac.org/cpc.cfm) run by Eddie Hasan's MOKAN and partly funded by MODOT, is indeed located at the MET Center adjacent to the Wellston MetroLink station. Wellston is a highly-impoverished, 98% African-American community immediately adjacent to North St. Louis City.

For sure, folks in and around Wellston need job training too! And it's not like you can't get there from the city, via the MetroLink or the #94 Page bus.

It's an eight-week training course. Do you really expect people to get paid for going to school for eight weeks? You don't get paid to go to Forest Park or Flo Valley for two years. Indeed, you pay quite a bit of dough over that time.

I don't know what the job placement rate is from this program, but it's the job of folks like Jack Thomas to monitor whether city contractors are meeting the Mayor's Executive Order goals for MBE and WBE participation.

That's not what Eddie Hasan does.

By the way (and I'm surprised the Oracle didn't notice this! ;-):

The 60th State Rep District includes only one precinct from Ward 18 (that's Pct 3) and only two precincts from Ward 3 (Pcts 1 and 6).

While the 4th and 21st ward endorsements may be significant, she doesn't list anybody from the 1st Ward, whose territory these days covers most of what was her old 20th Ward. (Most of what was until 2002 in the 1st ward west of Union, is now in the 22nd ward.)

Also what's interesting about this district is about 40% of the precincts (although probably a lesser share of voters) are located in the 5th Senate District, where there is no competitive Democratic primary, so the turnout is likely to be much lower than in the sections located in the 4th Senate District.

To Mr. Frank, you should note that Tyus won the 1st Ward from Troupe in their election last year, so she doesn't need the 1st Ward's endorsement.

In addition, there are only 4 houses in the 22nd Ward that falls in the district, yet all the 4th and 21st are in the 60th If you tally the more than 800 votes she received in her election bid against Troupe and the support of the rest, it appears she's the candidate to beat.
