2nd CD

In the Arch City Chronicle edition hitting the street today, we endorse Sherman Parker in the GOP primary for the 2nd CD.

Meanwhile the Democrats have a spirited four-way race:
John Hogan
Charles Karam
Rich Lesh
George Weber

Does ACC distribute any papers in the 2nd CD?

And for trivia buffs, let's see who has been paying attention: Which 2nd District candidate was the last Democrat to represent Kirkwood in the MO house before Jane Bogetto?

Oracle, would that be George Weber, elected to a single term in the Missouri House in the LBJ landslide year of 1964?

You are correct, sir. (Did I sound like Ed McMahon?)

Charles Karam illegally bankrolled the campaign of Ann Purzner (the nut case Mayor of Overland) and with Mark Brown (the corrupt St. Charles Councilman under recall) is behind the chaos Overland is experiencing as seen regularly on local tv newscasts. If Democrats stand any chance to defeat Mr. Akin they would be fools to choose this guy in the primary.

Anyone who has had the pleasure of hearing George Weber address the masses knows that he is the man for the job.

My bet on the dem primary is Hogan. I think he has the most (by far) experience of any candidate in running against opponents he has NO chance of defeating. John knows how to lose.
