Stlouist saying So Long
It was once the most vibrant cyber-community in St. Louis. It started as the Metropolist and helped fuel that organization's growth during the late 90s. Later, because stinging and zippy email threads put some people off, it morphed into the Stlouist. It's ending in a couple of weeks.
Jeff Wiegand, who selflessly hosts the list, mailed this out:
It's over people.
It was a fun time, but my divorce is final and I am done here....
I am leaving for the Philippines at the end of the month.
Sorry for the short notice, but I've had a lot on my plate.
The list will go down and the sites will be for sale.
I'm going surfing now....
