Around 11:30am yesterday Adam Schwadron withdrew from the 82nd District State Rep race. Sam Page is now unopposed in November.
Don't pop the champaign just yet. The Republican 82nd District committee has the right to nominate a replacement.
As a practical matter, though, Page is still a sure winner.
Posted by St Louis Oracle on Wed., May 24, 2006 at 11:49 PMThe Bishop Tom Cross is exactly what's destroying Missouri & America. With their politically motivated stance on stem cell research, they're driving away our top scientists and taking Missouri back to the Dark Ages.
While I personally take offense to these people that believe my life should end early due to diabetes, rather than seek a cure through stem cell research, I know that their politics is not going to have an effect on global stem cell research. All they're doing is taking America backwards, while Europe, South Korea, and Japan move forward.
Personally, I take pride in America and would like to see future cures developed on our shores. That's why we need to stop the Bishop Tom Cross and take a stand for science and support Dr. Sam Page.

How Could you?, what about Richard?
At least I ran for NY City Council, and NY state senante, but of course I lost, this is NYC after all. The area where I live the registration is 9000 Democrats vs 315 Republicans.
But it was worth the effort.
