Talent has announced his opposition to the stem-cell ballot initiative.
Does this surprise anyone ,really. He had MRL all pissed off over his waffeling. I had no doubt he would side with the extremist when they started tightening the screws.
Posted by Rob Morgan on Mon., May 1, 2006 at 8:10 PMI don't know that it is an extremist position. Afterall, Derio Gambaro is against the Stem Cell initiative too, and he's a Democrat from St. Louis City.
Posted by Mark Archway on Mon., May 1, 2006 at 9:59 PMIs this a scoop? I can't find it anywhere else, including Talent's web site.

One might argue that extremist is a bad phrase to use, but Derio's not much of a defense. Of course, Derio at least takes clear positions on Social Security privatization and stem cells while Talent tends to have to get back to you with an answer, sometime.
