Ryan McKenna, Democrat running for state senate in Jefferson County, once again far outpaced the incumbent Bill Alter in both fund raising and money on-hand.
McKenna raised over six times Alter and more importantly has more than ten times money on-hand.
For the quarter, McKenna raised $32,125 to Alter's $4,878. McKenna has $76,327 on-hand to Alter's $7,256. In addition, Alter has still has a debt of over $150,000 from his last Senate race.
McKenna is a good pick for Jefferson County. His fund raising has been very impressive. By far the most aggressive challenger this cycle.
