Green Applauds Aldermen For Passing Police Civilian Review Board
Her statement:
“I want to thank Alderman Kennedy, the bill’s co-sponsors and everyone in the community who fought tirelessly for a civilian review board. Although the approved bill falls short of its original goal of elected members, this compromise is a huge step forward for the entire St. Louis community.
“I call on the mayor and the police board to follow the will of the people and adopt this review plan.”
My butt, this is just another grab by the clergy coalition and the blacks to try and control a well run organization that serves and protects the people of this city. This board is a travesty. It is an attempt to create an impediment to the police department in the execution of its duties. The alderpukes who voted for this board should be drummed out of office and if Slay signs the bill he should receive the same treatment.
