Damn, you'd think someone as experienced as Wayne Goode would know how to fill out a campaign finance form! On the expenditures page, he lumps together contributions to candidates not exceeding $100, instead of itemizing them (as required by law) lower on the same page under Contributions. It's as though he's hiding something.
The "Aw, shucks, I didn't know any better" defense from a seasoned politician is really phony.

Posted by Howard on Mon., Jan 23, 2006 at 11:54 PMSen. Goode has been eyeing a run for St. Louis County Exec. for awhile. I had heard that he would run if Charlie lost, but that doesn't seem likely, so I imagine it has something to do with his smoking tax efforts
