Four faces at a fundraiser.

Three.

Oh, that isn't too bad considering the history. Now if Derio Gambaro had been airbrushed in, that would have been a big story.

Perhaps Jeff Smith was cropped because she couldn't remember his name... In the next photo down on her website, she called Paula, wife of Andy Ayers, "Blank and Andy."

Things like this really make you see how miserable and petty politicians can be. Things like this are also why I love politics.

But scroll down and you'll see Storch with Boykins.

Arguably, these some of the worst event photos I have ever seen. These are for sale?

In order to be considered for the highly prestigious Worst Event Photos List, a photo must have at least one of the following:

a) someone in the photo must have a big toothy grin with food (preferably something green) stuck to at least one tooth

b) someone in the photo must be bent over with an unpleasant view captured for perpetuity

c) there must be a spherical shirtless man with his man boobies exposed

e) there must be an animal relieving itself

f) someone in the photo must have a displaced rug

g) someone in the photo must have a big toothy grin with at least one tooth that is green...

Dave-I think you are making a big deal out of nothing-Just because another candidate is gracious enough to give a few bucks to another doesn't necessarily imply that the giver is authoring his or her name and photo to be used.

Nope. Sorry. Green teeth, one eyebrow, and food products blessed with alleged likeness of Jesus, Virgin Mary, or a U.S. President do not count.

Howard was responding to an earlier post, but it still makes a nice retort to Norm's comment!

Many people have had their photo taken with an elected official and many people find the face of Jesus in toast. I do not think you can call this coincidence.

What do you mean, Norman? Are you saying that Smith attended her fundraiser and then denied her the right to use a picture of him? That seems strange. I guess Dave's original suggestion is that Storch was behind it, but what's the history of bad blood people like Jack Louis are referring to?

Posted by Nicole on Tue., Jan 24, 2006 at 4:51 PM

The grudges involve the 1993 mayoral election when the authenticity of the Jesus Toast and Canolli Virgin Mary photos were in dispute.

It was funny. Let it go. It was a bad pic of Jeff anyway.

"I guess Dave's original suggestion is that Storch was behind it . . ."

The cropped-out version of the photo appeared on Rachel's own campaign web site, complete with cut line identifying only the three remaining in the photo. Is there any doubt? If there's anyone who can't connect those dots, Tom Delay wants you on his jury!
