The list keeps growing -
Sheriff Murphy
Alderman Florida
Alderman Hanrahan
Alderman Ortmann
Alderman Schmid
Alderman Vollmer
and over twenty committeepeople.
The quick build-up of endorsements in every part of the City (only these latest additions lean southside) should be enough to dissuade Coleman. But if Mike could get Maida's own alderman, seeing Young on that list would likely seal it for sure.
Posted by Brian on Mon., Jan 23, 2006 at 2:19 PMmaybe if Michael got Maida's committeeman, who is also head of the Democratic Central committee it might be as powerful as Alderman Young's endorsement.
Posted by Worried Citizen on Mon., Jan 23, 2006 at 3:03 PMDoes Wahby give out endorsements? I thought as City Dems head, you can't have favorites for a primary election.
Posted by Brian on Mon., Jan 23, 2006 at 3:52 PMIn theory, the Endorsement Police should have cited Wahby for pumping money from various sources into Maida's primary bid for State Auditor, and he should pay a fine to my favorite charity, Bacon for Strays.
Posted by Howard on Tue., Jan 24, 2006 at 10:38 AMMore aldermen (to be expected). Why doesn't McMillan list the names of the committeepeople claimed to endorse him?
Posted by carolyn on Tue., Jan 24, 2006 at 5:41 PMSheriff Murphy is a committeeman (12th ward).
Not that his endorsement counts for that much.
Ortmann and Schmid (and maybe Florida) represent areas located within Maida's state senate district. So that's interesting.
