Gambaro?

I asked him last night and he said "definite maybe."

His home base 10th Ward doesn't even have a ward organization, according to MEC.

Doing time with the Board of Elections is not exactly a plus.

Running means taking a position on stem cell.

During his state rep days pre-Kratky, Gambaro sponsored legislation to end the police residency requirement. Of course, given the recent police board rule change, such issue might be a moot-point now. However, Kratky made it an issue as to why Derio's handpicked Clements was endorsed by the SLPOA when Fred first ran. So, ironically for the white conservative Dem camp, there is a bit of bad blood between Fred and Derio that may be to Jeff's advantage in still strongly carrying the southside.

With Rachel out of the race, Jeff obviously already has the 4th's liberals in his camp, but if Vector's recent ACC-backpage comments are any indication, Jeff is building support on the northside as well.
