So let me get this straight--The Post Dispatch has an investigative reporter (under fire for making up stories) who the managing editor himself says is making up a story about her own sexual harrasment claim? Hmmm???

Tuft has written so many other bullshit pieces, including misquotes and out-of-context statements, without correction, it's about time she got spanked. Such routinely sloppy reporting should not pass as journalism, not even at the Post-Dispatch.

Regardless of what you may think of Ms. Tuft's reporting, it's good the Newspaper Guild is supporting her in the legal battle. That's what unions do - despite the Bush NLRB's seemingly unrelenting battle against the expansion of collective bargaining at every step.
