That's odd. Sanders probably has less state-wide name recognition than any potential Dem candidate, but he does have the law and order platform to run on. Don't forget that McCaskill used a very successful record as Jackson County Prosecutor to launch her state-wide career.

Senate seems a little far to reach right now. Something like Attorny General might be a more reasonable next step.
