Richard Byrd has Died
Shocking news.
Kirkwood State Representative Richard Byrd has died. He was a leader for the Republicans, champion for this session's tort reform.
I tangled with him last year, but I thought it was classy that despite our past disagreement, he emailed congratulations to me last month when my daughter was born.
Byrd was 46.
Richard Byrd was progressive for a Republican. He was classy, and he will be missed.

When some in his party challenged the non-partisan court system-he as chairman of the judiciary committee let it be know that he would sit on the bill to amend the constitution.
