Are you kidding me? Sky bridges are for people too lazy to get their asses on the street and in the city. These reduce pedestrian traffic, thus hurting city life. I couldn't think of many reason to keep it, besides the nice views of Washington Avenue. I'll take a healthy Washington Avenue, over the views any day.
