Metropolis Does it Again!
Metropolis will elect its next Steering Committee on Wednesday, January 19th, 6:30 PM at The Tap Room.
Who will be victorious? Well, we've got a pretty good idea since all positions are unopposed.

Fundraising - Dave Whitman
Marketing - Regina Przetak
Membership - Kim Mitchell
Leadership - Jennifer Estes
Living Environment - Kimberly Henricks
Perception - Michal Caldwell
Policy - Paul Eisenstein
Social Events - Randi Carter

Posted by will on Thu., Jan 13, 2005 at 9:33 AMIt's EXACTLY like the "good old days." We usually had about 50% repeaters and 1 or 2 contested offices. We considered it a good thing for continuity to have a mix of former and new Steering Committee members each term. It's interesting to me that several of them are switching positions this time. They are dedicated to staying on in leadership but are interested in trying something different. I think it's a great sign that all the positions are filled on election day - it's been quite a few terms since that was true.
