This guy has a DC-centric perspective, but on the ground, things may not reflect the DC CW. Jay will not challenge Talent. He has his eyes on Matt Blunt in 2008.
Also, he writes of Frist: "there is some speculation he will retire in order to pursue the presidency." He has already said unequivocally that he will not run in 2006. He took the pledge in his 94 race and has never wavered.
