On the charter amendments, that is.

UPDATE: Well, it's gone. I guess someone decided it wasn't a good idea.

I'm back in town, btw, so there should be more updates this week.

Channel 5 did a big expose' last night about the Sheriff violating state law by using his government web site to advocate voting against ballot measures. That's why he probably yanked it.

too bad there are NO tax dollars being used for the sheriff's website. the web designers are volunteers, and the city gives them the space FREE OF CHARGE. so why can the mayor put pro-home rule propaganda on the city's website but they call the press when someone disagrees with them?

the sheriff's department yanked it out of politeness, not because of the law (which they did not violate). at least someone has some class around here.
