If Claire McCaskill had attended a meeting or sent a representative, she may have received the nod. But she did neither, so by the EWIDA by-laws, she was ineligible for endorsement. Tough cookies, Claire - judging from the background chatter last night, you would have had it in a cakewalk had you made the effort.
