More stands coming

Thanks to a generous donation from our Distribution Man, Fred Hessel, we've ordered five new stands to improve our visibility around town. The stands are being constructed by Dann Green who does some really cool work. Green is also quoted in this morning's Post article about the civilian review board.

If Dann Green and his ilk had there way, Zaki Baruti would be our mayor and Jamala Rogers our police chief. Which would result in a city of, oh, 15,000 people. I know it's fashionable for left-press sources to allow hemp-inspired political theories of the Confluence crowd to get a hearing, but I find it hard to believe that even the ACC finds these ideas to creditable. Dave?

Hmmmm. Let's see. Where to start? Yes, it is important that these ideas get a hearing. Especially because Dann Green is an outstanding citizen and Jamala too. I don't know Zaki.

Also, Dann Green and his ilk are all drug-free. So their inspiration must be coming from elsewhere.

you should put a stand here in Jefferson County!

You should have a poll of "name" citizens that people would like to buy a one-way ticket out of town. I think a couple names mentioned here would qualify for some. Personally, I'd chip in for a ticket for Bill Haas; and my love for Jamala's racial politics aren't far behind.

I'd vote for Tim Boyle in Thomas' poll, but then I'm fixated like that. That "Emma" character over on the STL Today forums gets on my nerves, too. Actually, almost everyone on the STL Today forums gets on my nerves. Oh, and Gordon Baum, Earl Holt and the rest of the Council of Conservative (Racist) Citizens definitely deserve a one-way ticket outta here.

I just got a note back from yahoo saying that I sent Tim an infected file. Certainly not my intent, but ironic all the same. I would chip in for a ticket for "Emma," as well.

Instead of a poll, why not make it a reverse auction? Sort of like one of those charity fund drives where people are "put in jail" and then have to raise "bail" to buy their way out. Only this time, folks could ante up bucks to buy mock one-way tickets out of town for their favorite foes.
